What is Moyes doing better than Bilic?

I think most of us realised that Bilic had to go.

But surely when you make a change, you are surely expecting to find someone who can do something - anything- better than what you had before.

I can't for the life of me see what the improvement has been. You can show me all the training videos you want, and write as many articles as you want about how Moyes and co are shouting at the players more and so on, but on the pitch can anyone say what has changed?

Yes, we looked up for it against Leicester on way to what looks like 1 point from 3 games, but we looked up for it now and then under Bilic too when it was a 'big game' for one reason or another.

I accept there is an element of 'work in progress', but what progress are we seeing?

I'm not trying to rewrite history and make Bilic out to have been Brian Clough. But for the payoff to him and his staff, plus what it has cost to bring in Moues and his, what is better? What could possibly have been worse?

I see people now saying it's the players and not the manager. That's a very convenient excuse when the manager was given none of the benefit of the doubt recently.

the same players have underperformed and thrown in shit like tonight for three consecutive managers, its got fuck all to do with moyes. I didn't want moyes but these cunts don't down tools selectively, they continue manager after manager after manager

Well we are on the same page there then.

I always said that the next appointment after Bilic would be the test of the board and their apparent ambition. I sti think that is why they delayed the decision so long, whilst simultaneously briefing against the manager and leaving him as a sitting duck because they can't fucking help themselves.

We have seen the extent of their commitment now, laid bare.

God help anyone who defends those frauds now, because they are clearly beyond the reach of human medicine or therapy.

tnb, I totally agree that we needed someone of proven quality as manager but as I kept saying on the bilic out thread, those type of managers couldn't/wouldnt work under the current set up. they don't want a manager who's loved or gets above his station, it showed that how they attacked bilic through their social media contacts

After three games under new management we are getting more of the same. So everyone with 20/20 hindsight asks why did the owners sack Bilic and the answer is because they thought that keeping him risked us getting relegated.

I was underwhelmed with the appointment of Moyes but if instead we had recruited Mourinho, Guardiola or Conte would things right now have been any different?

The way the squad are playing they look capable of ruining the reputation of anyone who manages us.

And new manager picks the same out of form players and plays pretty much in the same way....and people expect different results..!!!
